YOANDYS LORES GONZALES was born on 27th December 1983
Composer, arranger, singer and instrumentalist (guitar, bass, piano, percussion).

Here follows his story:

In 1994, he started his career as a guitarist and singer within the prestigious baby group Ïsmaelillo (province of Cienfuegos). In there, he completed his music training, finding fulfilment as a pianist and arranger, as well as gaining the experience that during 8 years would be greatly useful in order to establish Ïsmaelillo’s fourth generation. Later on, he taught all this schooling to train and select the fifth generation’s new members, thus leaving his mark within such an important social project.
Before moving to Havana, he took part in groups like ¨José Miguel y su balanza¨, directed by the homonymous well-known Cuban musician, ex member of IRAKERE.

In 2003, he started to work as a music director, composer and arranger of the orchestra ¨Merecedes y su aché¨, composing thanks to his talent a part of the repertoire which today “Sabrosura viva¨ perform. In the same year, he also joined the group ¨Cubanos en la red¨ as a singer and arranger. During approximately one year and a half within the above-mentioned band, he changed all the repertoire that would be used to arrange a national tour and release a CD signed with TCI rapens inc., entitled ¨Del montuno al reggaeton¨, in which he put himself to the test for the first time as a music producer.

In 2004, he started his career as a director of the salsa fusion group ¨la formula¨, which made its debut during the closing party at the international festival of new Latin American cinema, sharing the stage with ¨Pupi y los que son son¨. Because of professional and personal ambition reasons, he began to intensely devote his time to the activity of music producer, as well as to his job as a soloist first and then creating a duo characterised by a repertoire mainly dedicated to reggaeton, ballades and rap.

As a producer, he can boast collaborating for groups like Eddy-K, Gente de Zona, Energía Total and Acento Latino. His most important experience was the job signed with sony music for a project with Eddy-K, La Freska, Bases llenas and yulien (ex percussionist and singer of Charanga Habanera) in the EGREM studios. Other successful experiences took place with well-known musicians who tried and turned to reggaeton, such as Pachito Alonso y Mario Rivera.

At present, he is about to finish his CLAN 537 CD, together with EL INSURRECTO and TIRALO ALE, also featuring Pedrito Calvo (ex Van Van), Yenisel Valdes (singer of Los Van Van), El Indio (singer of Manolito Y Su Trabujo), Sr Rodriguez, Boris SOS, Vania (ex Bamboleo), José Luis Cortes “El Tosco” and Samuel Formell (director of Los Van Van).

As an additional experience, he enjoys the occasional foray into composition by means of audiovisual aids, like for example the original soundtrack to the play ¨Tengamos el sexo en paz¨, starring the prestigious actress Susana Pérez.
